Highly Marelli Holdings Co., Limited (Highly Marelli) and APM Automotive Holdings Berhad (APM) announced the signing of their agreement to establish a joint venture, PT. Highly Marelli APM Indonesia (hereinafter “JV”). The new JV is being established to provide customers in Indonesia with HVAC units.

The signing ceremony was held online on August 25, with leaders from both parties attending from China, Japan, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Lu Haifeng, CEO of Highly Marelli said: “Highly Marelli, as a global renowned tier 1 supplier of HVAC and compressors, focuses on developing into one of the world's most competitive suppliers of thermal management systems for NEV. APM, after entering the Indonesian auto parts market in early 2000, is now the largest tier 1 supplier of auto parts with extensive operating experience in Indonesia.

With the signing of the JVA, the company is ready to spread its sail and catch the wind. Both shareholders are expected to give full play to their strengths, take their responsibilities, and fully support the development of the JV.”
