Highly Marelli is a global automotive systems supplier that combines Highly's leading edge in new energy vehicle compressor technology and strong business network with Marelli's automotive innovation and global market expertise. The company creates a leading cabin comfort business, focused on developing world-class solutions for customers and suppliers specifically in electrification of compressors, heat pump system and heating, ventilation & air conditioning (“HVAC”) systems.

The company is registered in Hong Kong, China, with operational headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. It has over 3,600 employees, more than 24 plants and R&D institutions in the world. Our business covers Japan, China, Asia, Europe, and North America.

Magneti Marelli was founded by Società Anonima Ercole Marelli and Fiat.

1938

Nihon Radiator Manufacturing Co., Ltd. established, starting point for Calsonic Kansei.

1954

Highly was founded in Shanghai, China.

1956

Kanto Seiki Co., Ltd. Established.

1966

First Nihon Radiator air conditioner launched.

1982

Nihon Radiator launched the world's first lightweight NB aluminum radiator.

1985

Highly entered the refrigeration industry.

1988

Nihon Radiator Co.,Ltd.was renamed Calsonic Corporation

1991

Kanto Seiki Co.,Ltd.renamed to Kansei Corporation

1992

Highly was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

1993

Highly manufactured first air conditioner compressor.

2000

Calsonic Kansei Corporation was established through merger of Calsonic Corporation and Kansei Corporation

2001

Highly was renamed Shanghai Highly (Group) Co., Ltd.

2009

Highly manufactured first new energy compressor for automobiles.

2015

Highly entered the motor industry.

2018

The integration of Calsonic Kansei and Magneti Marelli was announced.

Calsonic Kansei and Magneti Marelli unite under new worldwide brand - MARELLI.

Highly and Marelli signed a Memorandum of Intent of Cooperation.
