To explore plant operations and gather insights for improving Highly Group’s global production and management systems, Mr. Dong Jianhua, Vice President of Shanghai Electric and Chairman of Highly Group, led a senior team on a research trip to Highly Marelli’s plants in Malaysia and Thailand.

  At the Malaysia plant, Mr. Dong and his team inspected the workshops and production lines, praising the plant’s management, especially its training system for engineers and new operators. He highlighted the plant’s achievements in employee development and skill enhancement, which have laid a solid foundation for its growth and provided valuable lessons for other group companies, supporting overall improvements in skills and efficiency.

  Next, Mr. Dong and his team visited the Thailand plant, where they listened to the plant manager’s report and gained an in-depth understanding of its operations. During the visit, Mr. Dong noted differences in on-site boards and management granularity compared to the Malaysia plant. He emphasized that these differences present key opportunities for improvement and instructed the team to develop a specific plan to standardize management practices and enhance the overall operational and managerial efficiency of the Thailand plant.

  During the visit, Mr. Dong also engaged in external communications. In Malaysia and Thailand, he held friendly talks with APM, the partner of the Highly Marelli joint venture in Indonesia, and with SAIC Motor-CP. They discussed topics such as the Southeast Asian investment environment, future market opportunities, and strengthening cooperation. These discussions deepened mutual understanding and trust with Southeast Asian partners, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration.

  Accompanying Mr. Dong Jianhua on this research were Mr. Miao Jun, president of Highly Group and Chairman of Highly Marelli, Mr. Li Yilong, Vice president of Highly Group and President of Shanghai Highly Electrical Appliances Co., Ltd., and Mr. Zhu Haoli, former Vice President of Highly Group and president of Shanghai Highly New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., along with other senior executives. They contributed their insights and efforts to Highly Group's future development.
