Cooling:

Cooling can be done by transporting the heat in the room to the outside.This is same as traditional air conditioner.

Heating:

There is no heat source for heating because there is no waste heat from the engine during EV driving of EV vehicles or PHEV vehicles. Therefore, heating using electricity is required

Compressor

Highly Marelli provides a wide range of compressor product portfolio, covering various vehicle segments, from light vehicles (compressor capacity: 60cc) to SUVs (compressor capacity: 110cc).

Function
Belt drive, and obtains power from the engine, compresses the gaseous refrigerant, and circulates the refrigerant in the air conditioner cycle. Controls Cooling Performance by switching the electromagnetic clutch on and off.

Electric motor drive compresses the gaseous refrigerant, and circulates the refrigerant in the air conditioner cycle.

Offers industry-leading small size and high-efficiency as a scroll type compressor.
